Tell us about an obstacle you overcame!
An obstacle that I've overcome...or still working on...is getting out of my comfort zone and being a lot more vocal. I tend to shy away from most things but I've decided that I need to put myself out there and not stick in the background so much. With this, it's allowed me to work for the Student Leadership and Involvement Center as well as being the President for a student-led broadcasting club "Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV LIVE", and a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
What is/ was your favorite spot on campus and why?
The Student Leadership Involvement Center is my favorite spot...the snacks that they have and the overall positive environment. However, if I want to be outside, I'd prefer to be in the Art and Education area where the benches are.
What was the best advice you were given by a professor, staff, or classmate while here at Cal State Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV?
I over think a lot with my work. Especially when it comes to things that I am passionate about. I've been told that I can overcomplicate things but it's okay to make a few mistakes here and there. It's what makes us human. It's okay to try again.
