Hazardous chemicals are located throughout the University. All employees must have access to the manufacturer's specific information about the chemicals they use. Safety Data Sheets (or Material Safety Data Sheets) explain the chemical's hazards and control methods used to protect users from injury or illness.
SDS Database
As of September 8, 2024, the CSU has transitioned the SDS online database from MSDS Online to Risk and Safety Solutions (RSS). Students and employees can search and access Safety Data Sheets by logging into RSS with their university credential.
